How To Use Mascara As Liquid Liner
Why buy two products when you could just have one that does everything? Selecting the perfect eyeliner can be tricky, especially when they are so many different kinds of liner—liquid, clay, pencil, and the list goes on. From now on opt out of struggling to find the right eyeliner and just buy mascara instead. As far as we’re concerned, as long as mascara claims to be volumizing it’s just what we need. With just a tube of mascara and an eyeliner brush, you can tackle two makeup steps with one product.
Liquid eyeliner is the best option for a flawless line, wing, or cat eye. It goes on smoothly so you don’t end up with a jagged line. It will also always appear the boldest and thickest. But mascara works just as well as liquid liner, which is why we suggest you just stick your eyeliner brush there instead of purchasing two products that essentially contain the same thing. Dip your eyeliner brush into the tube of mascara and apply as you normally would apply eyeliner.
When your mascara gets a little flaky, this doesn’t mean it’s time for a new bottle. Add a few saline solution drops to the tube and you’ve got yourself another week’s worth of mascara before you need to replace it. If your mascara gets clumpy, place it in a glass of hot water for a few minutes and the contents will be like new again. These two hacks will keep both your lashes and your eyeliner looking top notch.
